What do I need to bring with me ?

We ask everyone to bring 2 towels, 1 small one for sitting on in the sauna and 1 large towel for drying yourself. You will also need appropriate swimwear i.e. shorts, swimsuit, bikini etc. We recommend wearing some comfortable footwear such as flipflops, sliders or crocs. A bottle of water is also recommended, to keep yourself hydrated.

Where exactly are you guys ?

We are based at the back of Trinity sports and leisure centre, hole in the wall road, Donaghmede. When you come in the gates of trinity, turn left and walk down past Brubox coffee and around to the back of the building. When you see the smoke from the sauna and hear the screams from the cold plunge, you have arrived.

Is there changing facilities and toilets ?

We do have changing rooms at our facility but we do ask people to come ready with their swimwear under their clothes. This speeds everything up and makes sure you don’t miss a second of your session. There are also toilets located in the trinity sports and leisure centre if needed but please try go before your or after your session as not to disrupt you zen flow !

What is the best way to do it ?

There is no right or wrong way to enjoy your recovery session. We get everyone to start in the cold shower and we also insist on everyone showering after the sauna and before your plunge. We would also recommend finishing on cold for the morning / afternoon sessions and heat for the evening sessions.

How long should I stay in the sauna or cold plunge ?

We recommend 10-15 mins in the sauna and building up to 3 minutes in the cold plunge. Starting at 30 seconds and then building your time each session until you reach 3 minutes. Of course everyone should listen to their body as everyone is different. Do it all at your own pace.
